Sheffield United vs Arsenal: Aubameyang won’t play in EPL match

Arsenal captain, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, will be unavailable for selection when they play Sheffield United on Sunday evening.

The Athletic reports that Aubameyang is down with flu and is out of the game.

Midfielder, Emile Smith-Rowe will also miss the match with an ankle problem.

Ahead of this weekend’s clash against the relegation-threatened Blades, Arsenal released an injury update.

Mikel Arteta will have Calum Chambers available for selection, after he recovered from a slight knock.

David Luiz has been ruled out, after undergoing a small operation on his right knee last weekend.

Martin Odegaard continues to be assessed ahead of Sunday’s match regarding his availability.

Kieran Tierney will miss a few weeks with a sustained ligament damage to his left knee during last weekend’s match against Liverpool.
