Harry Kane made wrong decision leaving Arsenal – Wenger

Former Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger says Harry Kane should never have left the club for Tottenham.

Kane’s time at Highbury was made famous after photos emerged of him in an Arsenal top celebrating the 2004 Invincibles title win.

But after Arsenal legend Liam Brady deemed him ‘a bit chubby’ and ‘not very athletic’, the striker was released after just one season in the academy.

Wenger, with a wry smile, told BT Sport: “Well, that’s where he made the wrong decision.

“He was nine-years-old, something like that, and his father moved… I don’t know exactly what happened.
