Nigerian Comedian DeeOne Sets World Record for Longest Stand-Up Comedy Performance

 

Popular Nigerian comedian and reality TV star, DeeOne, has successfully completed his Guinness World Record (GWR) attempt for the longest stand-up comedy performance by an individual.


The comedian began his 52-hour marathon performance at midnight on October 2 and wrapped it up in the early hours of Saturday, October 4, 2025.


Speaking after the feat at Pallazzo, Ikeja, Lagos, DeeOne said his record-breaking attempt was aimed at inspiring Nigerian youths and dreamers to believe that “no goal is too high to achieve.”


The 52-hour event drew a star-studded audience, including Pamilerin, Acapella, FunnyBone, Uche Maduagwu, Husband Material, EmmaOhMaGod, K-Solo, Constance Owoyemi, Akinolu Jekins, and Gbenga Adeyinka the 1st, among others.
