#BBNaija 2020: What housemates won inside lockdown house


The 2020 edition of the Big Brother Nigeria (BBNaija) finally came to a close on Sunday. 

While attention has been on the N85 million grand prize won by Olamilekan‘Laycon’ Agbeleshe, there were cash prizes, endorsement deals among others won by other housemates.

We take a look at some of them and housemates with the biggest wins at tasks while the show lasted.


Rebecca ‘Nengi’ Hampson may not have realised her dream of winning the show’s grand prize, but there’s no doubt she was among the biggest winners when it comes to winning tasks.

The 22-year-old entrepreneur from Bayelsa state made N5,328,000 from the various individual and team tasks she featured in.

She won trips to Abuja, Scotland as well as Dubai for One Africa Music Fest.

Nengi also won Bitcoin worth $500, food items for three months, homecare products for one year, box of skincare products, paint and ambassador deal.


Laycon may have snagged the N85 million grand prize, but that wasn’t the only thing he won during his stint at the lockdown house.

The 26-year-old had an impressive outing in individual and team tasks he featured in during the show, winning a cash prize of N5,031,000.

Aside the cash prize, he also won a ticket to Scotland, $500 Bitcoin, ambassador deal as well as marketing campaign deal for skincare and homecare products.


Dorathy Bachor, the show’s runner-up, gave good account of her ability to win big at competitions.

The 24-year-old entrepreneur from Lagos won about N3,926,000 during her stay at the house.

She also won other items including a new phone, paint, homecare products, free food, ambassador deal and $500 Bitcoin.


Neo, whose real name is Emuobonuvie  Akpofure, is another housemate who won big at major tasks during the just concluded season five edition of the reality TV show.

The 26-year-old ride-hailing app driver from Delta state won N3,572,000 during his stint at the show.

He also won home appliance, free food, ambassador deal and $500 Bitcoin.


Victoria Adeyele, a musician based in Lagos, won N2.5 million from tasks she participated in at the house.

The singer also won homecare products, free food, ambassadorship, trip go Scotland and $500 Bitcoin.

Big Brother Naija Lockdown housemate, Ngozi Nlewedim, popularly known as Erica, has berated fellow housemates, Laycon, for gossiping about her with the others. Laycon, who has a very strong feeling for Erica, seems to have been affected by the outcome of rejection as the Abia-born female housemate picked Kiddwaya over him. Susan Waya, mother of Big Brother Naija, BBNaija, evicted housemate, Kiddwaya, has finally reached out to ex-housemate, Erica. Mrs Waya, who spoke with Erica on phone, described the evicted BBNaija housemate as a “sweet lady.” She disclosed this to The Boss, a newspaper owned by Dele Momodu, on Monday. Mrs Waya who lives in Essex, United Kingdom said their conversation lasted for about 10 minutes. “She’s such a sweet lady… I’m looking forward to meeting her and can’t wait to see my son very soon in Lagos,” she said. Recall that Erica and Kiddwaya were involved in what many termed as a relationship while on the reality show. Though, they had their on-and-off moments, but the romantic cord between them was unmistakable. While Erica was disqualified from the BBNaija reality television show two weeks ago, Kiddwaya was evicted on Sunday.
