The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), has reported 1244 new COVID-19 infections in the country.
The health agency disclosed this via its verified Twitter account on Monday night.
NCDC reported that the country now has a total of 1,361 deaths since the start of the pandemic.
It added that the new infections were recorded from 17 States and the Federal Capital Territory, in the last 24 hours.
