Antisemitic: Elon Musk unblocks Kanye West’s Twitter account

The Twitter account of famous American singer and fashion designer Kanye Omari West, popularly known as Kanye West or Ye has been restored nearly three weeks after being locked over antisemitic posts and comments.

Confirming the development on Sunday night, the singer in a post on his Twitter handle said, ”Testing Testing, Seeing if my Twitter is unblocked.”

Reacting to this, Musk took to Ye’s comment section and positively wrote, “Don’t kill what ye hate, Save what ye love.”

This is coming barely 24 hours after the new Twitter owner and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Elon Musk, reinstated the former United State president, Donald Trump, who was suspended in January 2021, immediately after the Capitol riot for violating the social media platform and for the risk of further incitement of violence.

Kanye West had last month agreed to acquire the libertarian-leaning social network, Parler.

The company made the announcement days after Kanye’s Instagram and Twitter accounts were temporarily locked for a spate of posts that were criticized for being anti-Semitic.
