Christians killing each other in South East – Isaac Fayose counters Trump’s genocide claim

A public commentator, Prince Isaac Fayose has dismissed reports of alleged Christian massacre in Nigeria.

Nigeria was recently designated as Country of Particular Concerns by President Donald Trump over alleged genocide against Christians in the country.

The US President also threatened that the American military may strike in Nigeria to take out the alleged killers of Christians if the government fails to do the needful.

But Isaac Fayose in a video on his official Facebook page debunked the claim of genocide, stating that the security issues bedeviling some parts of Nigeria, especially the South Eastern region is perpetrated by Christians.

According to him, “There is no Christian genocide in this country. They are killing all of us. Both Christian and Muslims are living happily in Nigeria, we party, drink and eat together.

“If you are shouting genocide, what about the sit-at-home in South East? There are a lot of killings going on in the South Eastern part of Nigeria. Christians are killing Christians there.

“Muslim, Christian, all of us need protection in this country. President Bola Tinubu is one of the presidents that can never allow genocide. His wife is a Christian. It is Najia life matter not genocide.

“President Trump, if you love us so much, you won’t be chasing our brothers away from America, you won’t protect only the whites in South Africa but you would be neutral.

“If you want to help us, help our government to do better, but to say they’re killing Christians, na lie”. (sic)
