The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike, on Saturday, revealed one person that he would never be good with in Rivers State.
Wike vowed never to be in good terms with anybody who is against the development of the state.
The Minister spoke while addressing the people of Okirika during his Thank You Visit to the local governments of Rivers State.
He said: “So many people say he is not good with Ijaw people, I’m good with Ijaw people and Okirika people but if there is one person that don’t want development, I will not be good with that person.”
The Minister also charged anybody with personal problems with him to come out and face him.
“So if I have a personal problem with you, come and face me, don’t say it’s Okirika people or Ijaw people, face me. So if you don’t have the strength to face us you go and sleep.
“Those who said we didn’t do anything good here, they will never see good in their lives,” he said.
The Minister also disclosed that President Bola Tinubu has ensured that the local government election has corrected the illegalities perpetrated in the state.
Wike said Tinubu ensured that the local government election took place in Rivers State without any difficulty.
He added: “God used Mr President to make sure that local government election took place, without Mr President it would have been difficult.
“The illegalities that were perpetrated have been corrected. I thank God that you have taken back the council and you will do very well.”
