Frank Onyeka is adamant Coventry City will bounce back from the disappointing home defeat to Southampton.
The Sky Bet Championship leaders fell 2-1 to the Saints at the CBS Arena on Saturday afternoon.
The defeat put an end to Coventry City’s six-game unbeaten streak.
Frank Lampard’s side however remain on course to secure promotion to the Premier League despite the defeat.
Second-placed Middlesbrough also dropped points at home, after they were held to a 1-1 draw at home by Bristol City.
Coventry City are seven points clear at the top of the log.
Onyeka said they will use the defeat as motivation ahead of their subsequent games.
“The defeat isn’t something any player wants, but again, it’s one of those days where we have to accept what has happened and use it to fuel us in the next game,” the Nigeria international said after the game.
