The total number of active COVID-19 cases across the country has dropped to 9,270.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, made the revelation on Friday night while giving update on its official website.
The health agency while confirming 66 fresh cases of the virus said that about 127 patients have also been treated and discharged.
The development brings the total number of recorded cases in the country to 163,063 with 2,058 fatalities while no fewer than 151,835 patients have been successfully treated and discharged from various isolation centres.
According to the NCDC, the states with new cases include, Enugu-18, Lagos-17, Kaduna-10, Rivers-8, Akwa Ibom-6, Kano-2, Osun-2, Jigawa-1, Plateau -1 and FCT-1.
