Young Nigerians need to take life easy, says Rita Dominic

 


Popular actress and movie producer, Rita Dominic has stated that young Nigerians need to take life easy. The co-founder of Audrey Silva Productions made this known as a guest on ‘Phantom Xtraordinaire Show’ hosted by reality Tv star, Tobi Bakre.

Advising young Nigerians she said: “Be diligent with your work. Be serious about whatever you find yourself doing in life. Understand the need to evolve. It is important to evolve constantly because things change. Take life easy, everyone has their own time. We all have our time in life. That it happened at a certain time for A, doesn’t mean it won’t happen at a certain time for B.Just take life easy’.

Asked about one of the highpoints in her career, Dominic said: “The film I featured in was screened at Toronto International Film Festival. ‘76’.We got really good reviews from foreign press. It was amazing.”

She also opened up about her bucket list, adding that she would love to skydive

“I want to skydive, I wonder when I would do that but it is on my list. I would also love to ice-skate in Switzerland. I really want to do that”.

The fashionable actress also urged young talents in the industry to take their craft seriously.

“There are so many young talented actors out there who are doing well and I appreciate them .However, I like an actor who understands that acting is a job and disciplined about it. I like when young actors understand it is a job and you have to take it seriously. You understand that when you are there to work, you are there to work and being professional about the whole filming process. I appreciate those ones.

On the women who inspire her, Dominic said: “The Audrey Silva Company is named after two women who I greatly admire. 

Audrey Hepburn and Joke Silva. That is where Audrey Silva came from. There are so many actors and filmmakers that I have a lot of admiration for”.
