2022 World Cup: All teams that have qualified so far

 


At least, 11 countries have confirmed their places at the 2022 World Cup, as at Tuesday morning.

Qatar became the first to qualify automatically, because of their status as hosts.

It will be their debut appearance at the tournament, as they have never qualified in their history.

Germany were the second team to qualify after topping Group J of the UEFA qualifying series.

Denmark also qualified as Group F winners after their 1-0 victory over Austria.

Brazil became the first South American country to seal their spot after beating Colombia 1-0. They remain the only country to reach every World Cup finals.

Belgium qualified as Group E winners, while France were also confirmed as Group D winners on the same day.

Croatia booked their place at the mundial as winners of Group H, beating Russia 1-0 in a winner-takes-it-all clash, while Spain finished top of Group B.

Serbia, meanwhile, qualified ahead of Portugal in Group A with a 2-1 victory.

England qualified on Monday, thanks to an emphatic 10-0 win at San Marino. Switzerland secured automatic qualification on the same day as Group C winners, ahead of Italy.
