Queen Elizabeth II tests positive for COVID-19

Queen Elizabeth II has tested positive for COVID-19, Buckingham Palace announced on Sunday.

The Palace confirmed that Queen Elizabeth is experiencing “mild cold-like symptoms.”

The monarch is, however, expected to continue “light duties” at Windsor Castle over the week.

“She will continue to receive medical attention and will follow all the appropriate guidelines,” the palace announced in a statement.

Meanwhile, Queen Elizabeth has received three jabs of COVID vaccine.

Recall that Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, recently tested positive for COVID-19.
