BREAKING: INEC withdraws Tinubu’s certificate of return, declares Peter Obi as winner

INEC has reportedly withdrawn the certificate of return handed over to the President-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The INEC chairman, Professor Mahmood Yakubu made this known during a World Press Conference in Abuja. It was gathered that INEC bowed to pressure due to the agitation of the Obidients (Peter Obi’s supporters) over the alleged anomalies that occurred during the just concluded elections. Also, Falz’s song was said to play a major role.

Recall that the election was keenly contested with APC’s Tinubu securing 8,794,726 votes. Atiku Abubakar of the PDP had the second-highest figure with 6,984,520 votes, while Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP) was next with 6,101,533 votes.

How on earth would you have thought INEC will declare Peter Obi as the winner? Well, INEC has no such power to go against citizens’ legal votes. Today is 1st of April, it’s widely regarded as FOOLS’ Day. We couldn’t hold it any longer, but to shout APRIL FOOOOOOOOOoooooooOOOOOoOoOoOoL!!!
