Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has once again stirred online reactions after a dramatic scene at the Port Harcourt International Airport on Sunday.
A viral video circulating on social media shows the Zazu Zeh crooner, dressed in beige attire, confronting an unidentified man amid a crowd before being restrained by airport security personnel.
In the 53-second clip, Portable is seen shouting and gesturing angrily as security operatives in blue uniforms drag him toward a waiting vehicle. The commotion reportedly left one man barefoot, while another brandished a belt, drawing further attention from onlookers.
Reacting in an Instagram video on Monday, Portable claimed he was attacked by pranksters attempting a “death prank” on him.
Those people came to prank me. They were death pranksters. It almost turned to cultist level. Ten yellow no fit stand one blue,” he said in a mix of English and Yoruba.
He accused the pranksters and some online bloggers of trying to tarnish his image with false reports, urging the government to ban prank videos and clamp down on “fake bloggers.”
Make government stop all those prankers and some fake bloggers. Make them stop all this fake news post just because of small fame. Why una dey spoil person wey get glory name with una platforms,” he wrote.
