A chieftain of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, and former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, has disclosed that ex-President Goodluck Jonathan and his wife, Patience, chased him out of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
Amaechi said they chased him out of the PDP and handed over the political structure of the party in Rivers State to others.
In an interview with Channels Television on Friday, Amaechi said: “I was literally chased out of the PDP by former President Goodluck Jonathan and his wife.
“They took over the political structure in Rivers State and chased me out, and the same with APC.
“I will never keep quiet in the face of justice, when I do that they start planning to make me irrelevant.
“That happened in PDP with Jonathan chasing me out and handed over the structure to other people and my offence was because I was the Chairman of Governors Forum.
“I just don’t agree with some of the policies Jonathan was pursuing, I had sat down with Jonathan several times on the issues of disagreement and what the policies are.
“The first day Tinubu won primaries, I told him that I don’t agree with him.”
