Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has deposed Joseph Oloyede as the Apetu of Ipetumodu after the monarch’s conviction in the United States over COVID-19 relief funds fraud
Media aide to the governor, Olawale Rasheed, made this known in a statement on Monday.
recalls that in August 2025, Oloyede was sentenced to 56 months in prison.
The monarch was charged for allegedly defrauding the US government of $4.2 million in COVID-19 relief funds.
